Both teams started off
hard but it was the Rovers who came out with the first two goals.
Fitzroy defended really well but the Rovers scored another couple
of points to finish off.
The quarter time score was 16-0.
The first ten minutes was
a great contest. Fitzroy fought really hard and it paid off with a
goal and another straight after from Jeremy. But the Rovers took revenge
with another goal. The half time score was 29-12.
Fitzroy started the quarter
well and scored a goal. Rovers played well but Fitzroy kicked brilliantly
and tackled well. But Rovers came back with a goal. The three quarter
time score was 45-18.
Fitzroy started off with
a great tap from Scott that went on to be a goal. Fitzroy kept Kew
Rovers scoreless. The ball was as tightly contested as it gets. But
the Rovers came out with a goal to finish the game. The final score
was 49-24.
